On the first weekend of October, all roads are leading to Kosice.
There are many ways to get to the marathon, but now there is another and in our opinion very attractive, special Marathon Express on the route Bratislava – Košice and back.
This extraordinary train, covered by Košice Region Turismus, gives runners and visitors of Košice the opportunity to travel to their favorite marathon in such a special way and make the journey more enjoyable thanks to several accompanying programs and activities prepared by organizers of Kosice Peace Marathon and Košice Region Turismus.
The train will leave Bratislava on Saturday 5 October at 11:00 am to Trnava – Leopoldov – Trencin – Povazska Bystrica – Zilina – Vrutky – Liptovsky Mikulas – Poprad – Spisska Nova Ves and arrives in Kosice at 4:17 pm. The train will take the runners back on Sunday 6 October at 2:45 pm.
We are happy to take also those who come to Košice to encourage their running friends, or simply want to visit and see the capital of the East Slovakia on one of the most exciting weekends of the year.
Alongside the marathon itself, White Night, a festival of modern art, a number of attractive art installations and an unforgettable atmosphere that will culminate on Sunday, October 6 in crowded Marathon streets await us on the marathon Weekend.
