Let’s help together

Run with your heart is a charity project organized by Kosice Marathon Club and The Carpathian Foundation.

As a participant of the 95th Košice Peace Marathon, you can help support families with oncologically ill children, help improve life conditions of extremely vulnerable families or empower young people with visual disabilities.

How can you donate

As a runner, you can donate optional amount during the online registration for the 95th Košice Peace Marathon and you will be displayed amongst Run with Your Heart runners on the results list.

If you are not an active runner, but still want to contribute you can do so through the donor portal www.ludialudom.sk, where you will find specific calls for the donations to these organizations.

How can we thank you

If you donate 5 € or more, you will also get a symbolic start number Run with Your Heart.
First 30 donors who donate 30 € or more also get a special Run with Your Heart t-shirt.
First 10 donors who donate 100 € or more will be invited to the Marathon After Party.

Through the Run With Your Heart project we are helping the following charity organzations:

Svetielko Pomoci, n.o.

is a not for profit organization that originated from a personal experience of the founder with oncological disease and loss of her only daughter to the illness. The organization supports families with oncologically ill children in the eastern region of Slovakia. Svetielko Pomoci provides individual patient transportations – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, accomodation for families, material, financial and moral support, as well as support by a team of psychologists and social workers. In 2012, the organization established the first mobile hospice for children in eastern Slovakia, which provides palliative home-care for children at the terminal stages of their life.

OZ Podaj ďalej

is a volunteer civic association that connects those who wants to help with those who are in need of help. It maintains long-term relations with individuals and families in need and prepares an individual plan how to improve their lives. The organisation also aims to reduce waste by promoting passing forward things that are no longer needed by some but might be useful for others. Your donation will help a particular vulnerable family with basic needs, such as food, school supplies or medicines, and to improve their living conditions.

Únia nevidiacich a slabozrakých Slovenska (Košice)

unites and supports blind and partially-sighted people, their supporters, friends and parents. It empowers young people with visual disabilities and enables them to develop new skills, knowledge and interests to lead a fullfilled life and be able to find work. It also provides social counseling and a range of social services.

Whichever way you donate, 100% of your donation will benefit the people in need. The selected organization will receive 90% of the raised amount; the Carpathian Foundation will use the rest to ensure impactful and transparent use of the funds, and to raise as much as possible for these three incredible initiatives.
