There are six months left until the start of the Kosice Peace Marathon 2021. According to many of us, it is time to set things in motion. Questions accumulate. We understand them, we try to react, to answer, to set up our communication clearly. We certainly do not close our eyes to the reality of today, but we want to prepare for better times, which will probably happen in the foreseeable future. With great respect for the corona crisis that started more than a year ago, taking into account all aspects of health protection, with the experience that our teams gained after last year’s hectic preparation for our marathon. All this plays a role in our thinking and decision-making, but We want to look ahead.
WHEN WILL WE OPEN REGISTRATION FOR THE KOSICE PEACE MARATHON?
We are opening the first stage, which we call PRE-REGISTRATION 2021, right now, six months before the planned start of the KPM. This is intended for those who have been firmly determined to handle this situation with us since last year. For runners who are registered from last year and who through their determination to remain so have given us so much energy and a sense of belonging.
WHY THIS WAY?
For the sake of order and to have an overview of the situation, it is necessary for each competitor to confirm his decision to start at the KPM 2021 with a simple action, which we call PRE-REGISTRATION 2021. The procedure is simple. All runners who in 2020 confirmed their interest in moving the start to KPM 2021 will receive a registration code in their e-mail inbox, which will re-register them free of charge.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
Several months have passed, during which the situation and important data of the competitor may have changed. In addition to verifying their address and basic data, each runner can confirm his original discipline or choose another one that suits him better this year; he or she can also change the size of the participant’s T-shirt and so on.
HOW WILL OTHERS BE ABLE TO REGISTER?
After this first stage, which is set to take place in April, another will follow in which we will enable the registration of others interested in taking part in the oldest marathon in Europe. We will announce the deadlines and conditions in time.
