József Kiss
FOURTEEN STARTS IN KOSICE
Hungarian marathon champion in the years 1939, 1940, 1942, 1945 and 1947. He took part in the
KPM for the first time in 1937. He was twice winner in 1939 and 1942, and finished second three times
(1941, 1943, 1944). In the post-war period he took part a further 8 times, and the last time he ran
in Košice was in 1957. He died on 5 Sept. 1986.
