František Višnický

Born in Košice, he was a member of the club VSŽ Košice at the time of his victory in the KPM.
He first took part in the KPM in 1980, finishing in 7th place in 2h15m58s and taking the silver medal in the ČSSR Marathon Championships. In 1984 he took 4th place in the KPM with a time of 2h19m35s.
After Pavel Kantorek he became the second Czechoslovak marathoner to achieve more than one victory in the KPM.
